Lieff Ranch sits in a small pristine valley nestled against the rugged terrain of the Los Padres National Forest. You’ll find us along Alamo Creek Road in southern San Luis Obispo County just off Highway 166 past Twitchell Reservoir. Our Ranch enjoys excellent and very specific terroir and is a perfect location for our 40 acre vineyard of Grenache, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier.

For the first time we are producing our very own estate grown Central Coast Grenache Blend and Sauvignon Blanc. We are thrilled to have Mikael Sigouin, wine maker of Kaena wines formerly of Beckmen Vineyards, as our winemaker. Our 2016 Sauvignon Blanc was released May of 2017 and our Grenache Blend, Rumination, is set for release in the winter of 2017. We are especially excited about the release of our Lieff Alamo Creek Rose, available for Valentine’s Day 2018.

Lieff wines is proud to offer our fruit for sale to such illustrious vintners as Robert Hall, Bonne Doon Wines, Margerum Wine Company, Beckstoffer Wines, Kaena Wines, Brander Wines, and Sans Liege among others.

Our Grenache is Alban and Clone 1. Our Syrah is Clones 877, 470, 383 and 174. Our Sauvignon Blanc is Clone 1 SB from Rutherford.

Along with our devotion to making wines, Lieff Wines is dedicated to animal welfare and environmental conservation. We have donated more than 2,000 acres of pristine wilderness to the San Louis Obispo Land Conservancy. We love San Louis Obisbo County and are so happy to have had a role in preserving some of it’s glorious wilderness.

We are also proud of our commitment to animal welfare through the founding of Davey’s Voice for the Protection of Animals Nonprofit 501(c)(3).
